Our amazing new Outdoor Classrooms
We have noticed a big difference in nursery since having our outdoor classrooms built. The children are a lot more focused in their play, making their own choices and we have heard lots of imaginative language as part of their role play. The children have really benefitted from having much more space, we have seen lots of groups of children playing together in the different areas and it has improved their confidence and independence, choosing where they would like to play. The children’s focus and attention has improved, and we can really see friendship groups developing between the children. We have no restrictions with the weather and if the children want to splash in the puddles they can whilst others shelter under the classrooms whilst still getting the benefits of fresh air.
